Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan Wins First ATP Tour Title

<br /><br />After advancing into the top 100 in doubles on the ATP Tour this past November, former Washington men's tennis team member Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan won his first ATP Tour Title this past Sunday at the Aircel Chennai Open.

Stewart Earns Career-High Singles Ranking

<br /><br />TEMPE, Ariz. – As teams across the country prepare for the start of the 2017 regular season, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association released their first set of rankings this year, with Washington men's tennis junior Mitch Stewart coming in at 60th in the country in singles.

UCLA claims NCAA singles and doubles titles

Pac-12 tennis student-athletes swept the singles and doubles titles at the 2016 NCAA Tennis Championships. Mackenzie McDonald of UCLA won the men’s singles crown and then paired with Martin Redlicki to take home the men’s doubles championship. McDonald’s singles title was the second in the last three years for UCLA after Marcos Giron won it in 2014 and is the Pac-12’s 45th all-time. The duo claimed the Conferences’ first men’s doubles championship since USC in 2008 and the first for UCLA since 1996. The Pac-12 has now claimed 57 all-time NCAA doubles titles.

Pac-12 recognizes All-Academic teams

Following are the 2016 Pac-12 Conference Men's and Women's Tennis All-Academic teams, announced today by Commissioner Larry Scott. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and compete in at least 50% of the team's matches.
