BOULDER - Colorado's women's basketball team will host its annual Basketball 1-on-1 event on Thursday, Oct. 19. The event will be held at the Coors Events Center and doors open at 6:30 with the program starting at 6:50 p.m. in the Boedecker Gym.

SAN FRANCISCO – Wednesday is Pac-12 Media Day for women's basketball and head coach JR Payne is joined by junior guards Kennedy Leonard and Alexis Robinson in San Francisco at Pac-12 Network headquarters for the day. The trio will spend much of the day shooting promos for the conference in advance of the season and doing interviews with various media outlets.

Toriano Towns is the subject of this week's Mic'd Up Monday with the CU women's basketball team. The associate head coach for the team has a unique background coming to college basketball after playing college football. But his experience on the gridiron has given him a unique perspective on the basketball floor and brings some new training methods with it.

Colorado's women's basketball team opened practice for the 2017-18 season on Monday in the Coors Events Center. Head coach JR Payne mentioned that she likes her new team that features eight newcomers and five returners.
