Husky APR Measures Above 980 for Sixth Consecutive Year

SEATTLE – Student-athletes at the University of Washington continue to perform well in the classroom, according to the most recent Academic Progress Rate (APR) data tracked by the NCAA. The data, which was released today, indicated that the program average APR rate for Washington athletics was 988. This marks the sixth consecutive year that UW's overall APR rate measures above 980. Three Huskies programs earned NCAA public recognition for earning rates in the top 10-percent in their sport, including gymnastics, women's tennis, and football, who charted the top APR rate in the Pac-12 for the first time.

ACE Participants Unveiled

Scheduled to begin on June 21 in Vietnam, ACE is a joint collaboration between the Stanford and Duke athletic departments, as well as Haas Center for Public Service at Stanford and DukeEngage at Duke.

Honda Finalist

Senior Elizabeth Price has been named one of four finalists for the 2018 Honda Sport Award presented to the top women's gymnast in the country, the Collegiate Women Sports Awards (CWSA) announced Tuesday.

Washington Shines But Falls Short Of Super Six

The season came to a close for the 11 Washington GymDawgs Friday, as Washington missed advancing to the Super Six after taking fifth in session two at NCAA Nationals. Joslyn Goings earned an All-American nod after taking eighth on beam, making it three All-American awards in the last two years for Washington.

Perfect Finish

Senior Elizabeth Price capped a brilliant career Friday night by scoring a perfect 10 on the uneven bars at the NCAA Championships at Chaifetz Arena.
