The WNBA Draft happened last night, and three Pac-12 players went in the draft. One of those three went in the first round, as Layshia Clarendon was selected ninth overall by the Indiana Fever.


The Pac-12 saw three of its departing seniors get their names called in the 2013 WNBA Draft Monday night in Bristol, Conn.  With the three selections, the Pac-12 has had multiple players selected in every WNBA college draft dating back to the league’s inception in 1997.

With hoops over and months to go until football media day in July, Saturday's five spring games on Pac-12 Networks came along at just the right time.

While it wasn’t quite game-like intensity on the field, it was football - five teams in full pads is a welcome sight for fans who haven’t seen their teams in action in months and won't again for a while. Here are a few thoughts from watching all five games from the Pac-12 Networks control room in San Francisco.

According to the Arizona Daily Star, talented Wildcats pass-catcher Austin Hill left practice on Wednesday with an ice pack on his leg but an unknown diagnosis. Following Saturday's spring game on Pac-12 Networks, Arizona head coach Rich Rodriguez confirmed that Hill suffered an ACL injury that likely puts his 2013 season in jeopardy.
