DIRECT ANSWERS ABOUT DIRECTV – AND WHY IT’S TIME FOR YOU TO SWITCH

We’re as frustrated as you are. After more than a year of trying to reach a deal with DirecTV, we are at an impasse. We created Pac-12 Networks for you, the Pac-12 fan, and we realize this puts many of you in a difficult position. But we do not want you to miss out on our exciting season of Pac-12 football, 750 live events throughout the year, or our new behind-the-scenes programming featuring Pac-12 teams and student-athletes.

DirecTV is treating you unfairly. More than 50 cable and satellite providers carry Pac-12 Networks, and we've worked hard to convince DirecTV to do it at the same fair price. But, for some reason, DirecTV has said "yes" to Big Ten Network and other regional sports networks and "no" to Pac-12 Networks.

You shouldn’t be forced to miss your team’s games. We know you want to see your team play every game, and when DirecTV tries to tell you that they have you covered, they're not telling you the whole story. Pac-12 Networks will broadcast 35 Pac-12 football games this season. Plus, you’ll get the most highlights and analysis of Pac-12 football on our air along with in depth, behind-the-scenes original programming about our teams. And with our TV Everywhere solution, you will get all this content on any device you want, including phone and tablets. If you’re a Pac-12 fan, there’s really no substitute for Pac-12 Networks.

Time to stand up and switch. You've been patient, but now the time has come to stand up, exercise your rights as a consumer, and enjoy the benefits of competition by switching to a provider that will give you the programming you want. Sure, DirecTV says "switching is never the answer," but why not? After all, they constantly urge cable subscribers to switch, and competition is the American way. We know that switching can be a hassle, so we've tried to make it easier for you to do: switch today.
