Stanford sophomore Ella Eastin set an American and NCAA record Friday with a time of 3:57.57 in the 400-yard individual medley during the third day of the NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana. The victory helped her claim back-to-back NCAA titles in the event and eclipsed the national record set by teammate Katie Ledecky last month at the Pac-12 Championships.
