Highlights: Oregon softball shut out by Florida

After shutting out Florida State to open their 2014 Women's College World Series run on Thursday, the No. 1 Oregon Ducks end up on the wrong side of a shutout, losing to No. 5 Florida 4-0 Friday. The Gators were led by pitcher Hannah Rogers and her three-hit complete game shutout. Offensively, Bailey Castro went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs batted in for Florida. Oregon starting pitcher Cheridan Hawkins was on-point against Florida State but lasted just over three innings today. The Ducks fall into the loser's bracket where the will play either Louisiana-Layafette or Oklahoma Saturday at 6:30 p.m. PT.
