SAN FRANCISCO – Colorado women's basketball player Annika Jank was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Week on Monday. It is the seventh conference freshman of the week for the Buffs since joining the league in 2011-12, but Jank is just the third CU athlete to earn it (Arielle Roberson won it five times in 2012-13 and Kennedy Leonard once in 2015-16).
BOULDER – Colorado's women's basketball team used a balanced night in scoring to top Florida Atlantic 76-69 in its home opener at the Coors Events Center on Wednesday night. The Buffs improved to 2-1 this season, while FAU dropped to 0-2.
