Valenzuela Shines

Rising sophomore Albane Valenzuela went undefeated in four matches to help the Continent of Europe earn a 15-9 victory against Great Britain and Ireland in the 30th Vagliano Trophy on Saturday at Circolo Golf Club Bogogno near Milano.  

Dobashi Promoted

  Lauren Dobashi, who helped guide the Stanford women's golf team to NCAA and Pac-12 titles, and three consecutive appearances in the national semifinals, has been promoted to associate head coach, it was announced Monday.

Alvarez Wins WSGA Women's Amateur Championship

SEATTLE – University of Washington rising junior Julianne Alvarez took home the Washington State Golf Association (WSGA) Women's Amateur Championship title this week, finishing with an overall score of 6-under 210, four strokes ahead of second place. The three-round 54-hole tournament in its 24th year, took place at The Home Course in Dupont, Wash. Alvarez was followed closely by rising sophomore Karen Miyamoto who finished second with a 2-under 214.
