Choi Closes Out Record-Setting Season Tied For 21st At NCAA Championship

University of Colorado sophomore Robyn Choi shot a final-round even 72 to finish tied for 21st at the NCAA Women's Golf Championship, Monday, at the Karsten Creek Golf Club. Choi was 4-over, 292, for the 72-hole tournament. Her 21st place finish is the highest by a Colorado golfer at the NCAA Championship. Emily Talley tied for 38th to lead the Buffaloes at the 2012 NCAAs.

Buffaloes Finish 19th At NCAA Championship

The University of Colorado had its best of three rounds at the NCAA Women's Golf Championship, but it wasn't enough on Sunday to advance any further as the Buffaloes finished in 19th place at 40-over, 904, at the Karsten Creek Golf Club.

Buffaloes Loose, Excited, To Play In NCAA Championship

Colorado made its first NCAA Women's Golf Championship appearance in 2012 and the goal ever since then was to get back. The road hasn't been easy and the previous two years were the most gut wrenching of all, missing that elusive goal by a single stroke each time. However that all changed last week in San Francisco. Colorado had big-time performances up and down its lineup and thus six years later, the Buffaloes return to the NCAA Championship, which tees off Friday at the Karsten Creek Golf Club in Stillwater, Okla.
