CU Looks To Continue Winning Streak In Rivalry With DU On Saturday

BOULDER – When Colorado travels to the University of Denver on Saturday, it will be the next chapter in perhaps the biggest rivalry for the Buffs in soccer. CU has only been in the Pac-12 since 2011—not enough time to develop a big rivalry. But the Buffs and Pioneers have played 21 times in 21 seasons, including two NCAA Tournament matches, tied for the most meetings between CU and any other opponent (Colorado has also played Missouri and Texas A&M 21 times each).

Puketapu Added To New Zealand National Team To Face U.S. For Two Friendlies

AUCKLAND, New Zealand – Colorado freshman soccer player Marty Puketapu has been named to the New Zealand National Team for its upcoming United States tour. Puketapu will be with the Ferns for two international friendlies against the USA on Sept. 15 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Denver and on Sept. 19 in Cincinnati.

Buffs Embark On First True Road Trip Of The Season

BOULDER - Colorado's soccer team will begin its first true road trip of the season on Friday when the 25th-ranked Buffs take on Texas in Austin. They will also play at UTSA on Sunday. Friday's kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. MT and will be televised on the Longhorn Network. Sunday's match begins at 6 p.m. MT and will be streamed online.

Buffs Soccer Ranked 25th This Week

CU's soccer team slipped four places in this week's United Soccer Coaches top-25 poll to No. 25. The rankings, however, do not include Monday's match against BYU. The Buffs are one of six Pac-12 teams in the top 25, led by No. 1 UCLA and No. 2 Stanford.
