Freshman Marta Ciesla won the 50y free in a personal best and anchored USC's win in the 400y medley relay, junior Riley Scott was third in the 200y IM and senior Santo Condorelli was fourth in the men's sprint to lead the USC women's and men's swim teams during the first full day of the Texas Invitational on Thursday (Nov. 30) in Austin.
The USC women's and men's 800y free relays finished second and sixth, respectively, in the timed final opening act of the four-day Texas Invitational on Wednesday (Nov. 29), a strong showing to kick off what should be a fast week of swimming.
The No. 4 USC women's swimming team and the No. 10 Trojan men – both unbeaten in dual meets during fall action – are headed to Austin this week for the Texas Invitational, Wednesday through Saturday (Nov. 29-Dec. 2), at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center.
Sophomore Henry Fusaro and senior Dashiell Enos finished first and second, respectively, on men's 1-meter springboard while sophomore Carly Souza was third on women's 3-meter to lead the USC efforts on the first day of the Trojan Diving Invitational on Friday (Nov. 10).
