The No. 21-ranked USC women's volleyball team (8-3) opens league play on the road against crosstown rival No. 11 UCLA (7-2) on Wednesday, Sept. 20. First serve is set for 8 p.m. PT with a live broadcast on ESPNU.

The Huskies and Cougs are two of the top-three blocking teams in the nation. • The Pac-12 slate opens with seven teams ranked in the latest AVCA poll, including three teams in the top 10. No other league has more teams ranked. STANFORD continues to lead the pack at No. 4, followed by the Huskies at No. 7 and OREGON at No. 8. UCLA is No. 11 this week, UTAH is No. 16 and USC is No. 21. COLORADO makes its first appearance of the season at No. 25. WSU is also receiving votes.

The 18th-ranked USC women's volleyball team (8-3) completed its non-conference schedule with a 3-1 win (25-19, 23-25, 25-20, 25-20) over Oklahoma (3-9) in the Maryland Challenge at the Xfinity Center on Friday, Sept. 15.

No. 18 USC Swept by Upstart Terrapins

The 18th-ranked USC women's volleyball team (7-3) was swept in three sets (25-22, 25-23, 25-21) by tournament host Maryland (10-0) in the Maryland Challenge at the Xfinity Center on Thursday, Sept. 14. The Women of Troy had their three-match winning streak snapped and fell to a team from the state of Maryland for the first time.
