USC women's volleyball sophomore outside hitter Khalia Lanier (Scottsdale, Ariz./Xavier College Prep) was named the Sports Imports/American Volleyball Coaches Association Division I National Player of the Week as announced by the AVCA on Tuesday, Nov. 14. It is Lanier's first-career national award and the 10th in program history for the Women of Troy.
USC women's volleyball sophomore outside hitter Khalia Lanier (Scottsdale, Ariz./Xavier College Prep) was named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 6-12, as announced by the conference office on Monday, Nov. 13. It is Lanier's second award this season—her third conference weekly award, which includes a Freshman of the Week nod in 2016—and represents USC's 73rd all-time weekly award.
The 17th-ranked USC women's volleyball team (20-7, 12-4 Pac-12) collected its fifth consecutive win on a five-set victory (20-25, 25-17, 27-29, 25-11, 15-11) over No. 25 Colorado (19-8, 9-7) on Saturday, Nov. 11, at Galen Center.
