Football Team Escalates in National Polls

Corvallis, Ore. - The Oregon State University football team has moved up to No. 18 in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll, and No. 19 in the Associated Press Poll as a result of defeating defending Pac-10 Conference champion Stanford, 38-6, last Saturday at Reser Stadium.
The Beavers are one of five conference members ranked in the top-25 this week, joining Washington, Oregon, Arizona, and UCLA. Oregon State travels to No. 23 (AP) UCLA this weekend (Oct. 21) for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff from the Rose Bowl. The game will be televised live only in the Los Angeles area via Fox West 2.
