Kalvaria And Lastra Win Doubles Title At ITA All-American

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. - Stanford's Lauren Kalvaria (Indialantic, FL) and Gabriela Lastra (Reno, NV) captured the doubles title at the Riviera All-American Women's Tennis Championships Sunday at the Riviera Tennis Club. The team defeated top-ranked Paola Palencia and Ipek Senoglu of Pepperdine 6-4, 3-6, 7-5.

Kalvaria and Lastra advanced to the finals with a 5-7, 6-3, 6-3 win over against Vladka Ulhirova and Janet Walker of Texas in the semifinals. The team reached the semifinals with a first round win over Oklahoma State's Ashleigh Dolman and Maria Galoustova and a quarterfinal win over Duke's Amanda Johnson and Megan Miller.

The Riviera is the second leg of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Grand Slam.
