Women's Soccer Player of the Week (10/31/00)

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- UCLA junior forward Stephanie Rigamat has been named the Pac-10 Women's Soccer Player of the Week for Oct. 24-30, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.
Rigamat, from La Crescenta, Calif., registered six points on the weekend in two Bruin victories over No. 18 Stanford and No. 6 California. Against the Cardinal she recorded an assist. In the Bruins' upset win over the Bears she knocked in two goals, including the game winner and added an assist. With her efforts she has moved into second place on the team in scoring this season.
With the wins over Stanford and Cal, the Bruins now stand at 14-2-1 on the season and are in second place in the Conference. UCLA finishes the season with contests against Arizona and Arizona State.
This is Rigamat's first career Pac-10 Player of the Week honor and UCLA's sixth Player of the Week honor all-time.
