Rigamat Receives National Honor

Los Angeles -- UCLA women's soccer player Stephanie Rigamat was named the Soccer Times National Player of the Week on Tuesday evening, following impressive showings against Stanford and Cal this past weekend. She was also named Pac-10 Player of the Week on Tuesday as well.
Rigamat, from La Crescenta, registered six points on the weekend moving into second place on the team in scoring with 23 points (8g, 7a). Against No. 18 Stanford on Friday evening, Rigamat registered an assist in UCLA's 5-0 shutout over the Cardinal. She came back on Sunday to score two goals, including what proved to be the game winner, in UCLA's 4-1 upset over No. 6 Cal. She also added an assist in that game.
It is Rigamat's first national player of the week honor.
