Football Team Cracks Top-10 in Polls

Corvallis, Ore. - The Oregon State University football team continues to move toward the top of the Associated Press and ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll, climbing to No. 10 in this week's polls. The Beavers moved up four positions after defeating California in Berkeley last weekend, 38-32.
The Beavers, who are 8-1 overall, and in a second-place tie in the Pacific-10 Conference, join fellow conference members Oregon and Washington in the national polls. Oregon State is in quest of its fifth consecutive victory, and third in a row on the road, Sat., Nov. 11 at the University of Arizona. The game will be televised live via Fox Sports Net beginning at 7:15 p.m. PST, or can be heard over the Beaver Sports Radio Network with Mike Parker, Bob Grim, and Michael Convery calling the action.
