Laura Granville and Gabriela Lastra To Face Off In ITA Women's Tennis Regional Final

It's an all Stanford final for the singles championship match in the ITA Women's Tennis Regional Championships. Top-seeded Laura Granville will face sixth-seeded Gabriela Lastra in the finals, slated for Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Tabue Family Tennis Stadium. Following will be the doubles final in which the No. 1 team of Granville and Lastra will take on the No. 2 seed from Stanford, Lauren Barnikow and Lauren Kalvaria.
In the singles quarterfinals, Granville defeated Fresno State's Liesl Fichtbauer 6-4, 7-5 to advance to the semifinals. In the semis, she defeated Erica Perkins of Washington State 6-2, 6-4. Lastra advanced to the finals with a default win over Stanford's Lauren Kalvaria and a 7-5, 3-6, 6-3 win over second-seeded Kristina Kraszewski of Washington.
In doubles play, Granville and Lastra topped the No. 4 seed from Washington, Kraszewski and Darila Klaic by a score of 6-3, 6-1. Barnikow and Kalvaria, the No. 2 seed, advanced to the finals with a 6-1, 6-3 win over Cal's Nicole Havlicek and Jieun Jacobs.
