Men's Basketball Hosts Slovakia Select

PULLMAN, Wash. - The Washington State University men's basketball team hosts Slovakia Select in its final exhibition game in the 2000-01 season, Tuesday night at 7:00 at Friel Court.

The Cougars defeated Lewis-Clark State, 70-67 last Wednesday in its first exhibition game in Pullman.

In the win over the Warriors, Washington State had four players score in double figures, led by senior Eddie Miller's game-high 19 points. Miller just missed a double-double, adding a game-high nine points.

Sophomore Jerry McNair added 14 points and juniors J Locklier and Framecio Little tallied 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Slovakia Select enters the contest having played four exhibition games. It opened its schedule with a 92-52 loss to Oregon State before knocking off Warner Pacific College (Portland, Ore.) 88-84. Slovakia Select has lost its last two games, 99-63 to Wyoming and 100-56 to Nevada.

Washington State opens its regular season Monday November 20 at home against Portland State. Game time is 7 p.m.
