Mike Casale Diary

We dont know too much about Alabama. We really aren't worried about howthey play, we're more worried about how we are going to play. We spent theweek with high pressure and just working hard. We realize that we arebasically five games away from winning it all. We see this as the firststep out of five to really reach the goal that we set ever since I havebeen here, to get to the final four. But, we are really excited to have anight game, the weather will be to our advantage, it's cold and a littlewet. We've had a great week of training and hopefully we can transfer thatto the game tomorrow night with a victory.

I am kind of getting through an injury and if it was any other game, Iwould probably be thinking about taking it easy. But, knowing that thiscould be our last one, all four of us seniors are ready to play a hugerole tomorrow night and lead the team. We know it could be our last game, but we are not trying to think of that because hopefully we will have fourmore. We are more excited than we have been for any other game.

Kai (Carroll) got Pac-10 Player of the Week last week and that washuge. Ben (Somoza) and Bryn (Ritchie) did a great job this year and gotfirst team All Pac-10. I think we are getting some recognition because wehave been working hard all season and now its all coming together. So,hopefully, tomorrow night we can take it up a step from what we did lastFriday and show everybody here that we are ready to compete in the nextlevel, which is the playoffs.
