Women's Swimming Leads After First Day Of NU Invitational

LOS ANGELES -- The top-ranked UCLA swimming and diving team scored 286 points to take the lead in the first day of competition at the Northwestern Invitational in Evanston, IL. The Bruins claimed titles in both relay events, the 200 medley and 400 medley relay.

Competition continues tomorrow at 10 am with preliminary races. Finals will be held in the afternoon session which begins at 5 pm. Finals will be held for the 200 medley relay, 400 IM, 100 Fly, 200 Free, 100 Back and 800 Free Relay. Diving will take place between the sessions. The meet will conclude on Sunday with two more sessions.
