Two USC Trojans Named PAC-10 Football Players Of The Week

Quarterback Carson Palmer and kicker David Bell of USC have been namedPac-10 Players of the Week in football.

Both played key roles in USC's upset 38-35 win at UCLA. Palmer, asophomore, completed 26 of 37 passes (.703) for career-highs in yardage(350) and touchdowns (four) with no interceptions. He added 31 yardsrushing on five carries for 381 yards total offense. He directed a Trojanoffense that put up 557 yards total offense, 207 rushing and 350 passing.

Bell, a senior, hit the game-winning field goal from 36 yards out withnine seconds remaining in the game.
