Washington Beats Boise State, 82-62, in Women's Hoops.

BOISE, Idaho - The Washington Huskies defeated the Broncos in women's basketball, 82-62, Monday night.

A strong first half by the Huskies put the Broncos in a 19 point hole at the break. To start the second period, Washington came out strong once again, extending their lead to as many as 27. The Broncos, sparked by three three-pointers from Abby Vaughan and one a piece from Mandy Welch and Camille Woodfield, closed the gap back to 20 by the end of the game.

The Broncos were led by junior post Andrea Swindall who had her third double-double in three games with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Vaughan added 11 points for Boise State.

For Washington, Emily Autrey came off the bench to lead the Huskies with 20 points, three rebounds and 8-of-11 shooting from the field.

The Broncos, at 0-3, now travel to Weber State (Nov. 30) and Utah (Dec. 2). Washington plays at Oklahoma State and then hosts Nebraska in the upcoming week.
