WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - OREGON senior forward Bryan Bracey has been named the Pacific-10 Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Dec. 11-17, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.

Bracey, from Chicago, Ill., averaged 25.5 points and 9.0 rebounds last week as the Ducks defeated Illinois-Chicago and dropped an overtime game to Auburn.

Bracey scored 20 points on 7-of-9 (.778) shooting with seven rebounds, two assists and a steal in the 110-87 victory over Illinois-Chicago. He posted a career-high 31 points on 9-of-19 (.474) shooting, 12-of-14 (.857) from the line, and added 11 rebounds for his second double-double of the season in the 101-97 overtime loss to Auburn. For the week, Bracey shot 16-of-28 (.571) from the field, 17-of-20 (.850) from the free throw line.

It is the first weekly award for Bracey, the 20th all-time honor for the Ducks..
