Junior guard Michelle Greco of the UCLA women's basketball team will drop by the Pac-10 Conference chat room at on Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 4:30 pm PT.

Greco, the Pac-10's leading scorer and foul shooter, is averaging 19.1 points per game and is shooting 88.4% from the free throw line this season. She is coming off a 23-point performance in the Bruins' 65-53 win over USC. Greco and the Bruins will host Arizona State and Arizona this week.

Greco has put together a solid season so far in 2000-01. She was named to the all-tournament team at the Women's Sports Foundation Classic in New Mexico on Nov. 11. On Dec. 10, she scored a career-high 34 points, including 25 in the second half, in the win over Long Beach State. She has totaled seven 20-point games this year and has led the Bruins in scoring in 12 of its 14 games. The two games in which she did not lead the team in scoring were when she was injured or ill. In addition to leading the conference in scoring and free throw percentage, Greco ranks fourth in steals and fifth in three-point field goals made.

The team co-captain from La Crescenta, CA and Crescenta Valley HS was named to the honorable mention All-Pac-10 team last season and was a first-team All-Freshman conference selection in 1999.
