Tostitos Fiesta Bowl Parade and Pep Rally Scheduled for Corvallis

Corvallis, Ore. - Oregon State University's Fiesta Bowl champion Beaver football team will be honored on Sunday with a victory parade through downtown Corvallis and concluding with a pep rally at Gill Coliseum.
The big day of celebration gets underway at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday with the parade sponsored by The Downtown Corvallis Association, and ending with a 3:00 p.m. pep rally at Gill Coliseum.
The parade will start at 2nd and Jackson in downtown Corvallis. The parade route will move to 2nd and Jefferson, south to Madison, west to 5th Street, south to Jefferson, west to 26th Street and to Gill Coliseum for the start of the 3:00 p.m. pep rally.
Admission to the pep rally is free of charge, but everyone attending must pick up a ticket in advance from the OSU Athletic Ticket Office. Ticket will be available through the outside booths in front of the main entrance to Gill Coliseum from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. The booths will be open on Saturday starting at 11:30 a.m. and at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. Fans can reserve tickets by calling the OSU Ticket Office at 737-4455 or 1-800 GO BEAVS.
Mike Parker, OSU's play-by-play announcer, will serve as the MC of the pep rally.
At the pep rally, Coach Dennis Erickson will be presented with the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl championship trophy from Fiesta Bowl President John Junker, plus a Pacific-10 Conference championship trophy from Sears.
Fans will also be entertained with video highlights of the fabulous 2000 season.
