WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- OREGON guard Jamie Craighead has been named the Pac-10 Women's Basketball Player of the Week for Jan. 8-14, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.

Craighead, from Elma, Wash., averaged 14.5 points, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals while leading the Ducks to a home sweep of the Bay Area schools last weekend. She shot 76.9 percent (10-13) from the floor and 72.7 percent (8-11) from three-point range.

Against California, Craighead hit 5-of-7 from the floor and 4-of-6 from the line en route to an 86-56 win over the Golden Bears. She scored all of her 14 points in the first half, while grabbing a rebound, notching four assists and one steal. Against No. 24 Stanford, Craighead helped Oregon to its sixth straight victory, downing the Cardinal 72-54. She notched a game-high 15 points, dropped in four three-pointers and added a rebound, four assists and one steal. Craighead leads the Conference with 36 three-pointers made (2.77 avg.).

The Player of the Week honor is the first of Craighead's career, her first this season and the 26th all-time selection for Oregon.
