Baseball Coaches Select Trojans To Win Pac-10

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- The Pac-10 coaches have selected USC as the preseason favorite to win the conference championship. USC received six first-place votes while Arizona State and Stanford received one first-place vote each. Arizona State, Stanford and UCLA each shared the Pac-10 Conference title last year, marking the first time three teams ever shared the championship.

Points were awarded in descending order with eight points for first place, seven for second, and so on. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own team.
