EUGENE -- The Oregon men's golf team opens the spring portion of the 2000-01 season Monday, Jan. 29, and Tuesday, Jan. 30, at the Ping-Arizona Intercollegiate. The three-round event will be played on the par-71, 6,900-yard Raven at Sabino Springs Golf Course with two rounds contested on Monday and a final 18 holes Tuesday.

Three of the nation's top 10 teams will be in this year's Ping Arizona, including No. 4 South Carolina, No. 8 Brigham Young and No. 10 Arizona, the host school. Others in the 20-team field include Arkansas, California, UC-Irvine, Long Beach State, Mississippi, New Mexico State, Ohio State, Oregon, Oregon State, Pepperdine, Stanford, Texas-El Paso, UCLA, No. 16 USC and Washington.
