Women's Tennis Dominates UCSB, 7-0

EUGENE - The University of Oregon women's tennis team records its first win in three tries with a 7-0 win over the University of California-Santa Barbara.

All singles matches were won in straight sets, including freshman Courtney Nagle's 6-0, 6-0 sweep over Annie Lippman at the No. 6 slot.

'Singles-wise we played very well,' said Oregon head coach Jack Griffin. 'We won the doubles point but we played tentative. Hopefully we learn from that, but I was happy we turned it around in singles.'

The Ducks will take on Boise State Sunday at the Student Tennis Center at 2:30 p.m.
