No. 10 Women's Tennis Blanks New Mexico, 7-0

TEMPE, Ariz. -- The 10th-ranked Arizona State women's tennis team (4-1) posted their second straight shutout in as many days as they defeated the University of New Mexico (3-4), 7-0, this afternoon at the Whiteman Tennis Center.

The Sun Devils swept all three doubles for the first point and all six of the singles matches. ASU did not drop a single set during the dual.

On the No. 1 court, Adria Engel defeated Natalia Alekhova, 6-2, 6-2, while Karin Palme also made quick work of New Mexico's Tjasa Suvak, 6-4, 6-1.

Megan Yeats improved her perfect dual record to 5-0 with a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Neza Kurnik on the No. 3 court.

Celena McCoury posted her first dual win of the year on the No. 6 court as she downed Sandy Lukowski, 6-1, 6-4.
