Feb. 12, 2001

BERKELEY - For the second time in the last three weeks, senior forward Sean Lampley has been named the Pac-10 Player of the Week.

In leading Cal to wins at Oregon State and Oregon, Lampley averaged 24.5 ppg and shot 16-for-24 (66.7%) from the floor. At OSU Thursday, he set a career high with 32 points, going 9-for-12 from the field and 12-for-14 from the line. His biggest basket came in overtime when he sank a long three-pointer with under a second left to lift the Bears to a 72-69 win.

Then at Oregon Saturday afternoon, Lampley totaled 17 points and 10 boards for his sixth double-double of the year.

Lampley, who leads the Pac-10 in scoring with 19.5 ppg, also earned the conference honor Jan. 29 after leading Cal to victories at Washington State and Washington. During that road trip, he averaged 24.0 ppg.
