Husky Golfers Move Up to 15th Place at Waikoloa Tourney

Waikola, HI - The Washington men's golf team used a pair of second-round 75s from sophomore Conner Robbins and freshman Brock Mackenzie to move into 15th place at the Taylor Made/Waikoloa Intercollegiate Tournament at the Waikoloa Kings and Beach Golf Courses in Waikoloa, Hawaii. The Huskies improved upon an opening day score of 336 and fired a second-round 307 to move past five teams heading into Saturday's final round. Texas continues to lead the 24-team field with a score of 612, just one stroke ahead of Oregon.
Washington sophomore Conner Robbins is in 20th place to lead the Huskies with a two-day total of 14-over 156. Husky freshman Brock Mackenzie is one shot behind Robbins at 15-over 157. Texas' Matt Brost and BYU's Scott Miller share the lead after shooting matching 72s to stand at 5-over 147.
