Washington Falls To Oregon, 85-73

SEATTLE (AP) - Luke Jackson recorded a triple-double as Oregon used the3-pointer to take a big second-half lead and held on for an 85-73 victory overWashington on Saturday night.

Despite leading the Pac-10 in 3-pointers, the Ducks hit just one in thefirst half, but connected on five during a 23-10 run in the second half thatput the game out of reach.

Jackson had 14 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for Oregon (13-10, 4-9Pac-10).

Frederick Jones scored 22 points while Bryan Bracey scored 16 and LukeRidnour and 14 for the Ducks. Bracey grabbed 10 rebounds to notch adouble-double.

Freshman C.J. Massingale scored 18 points, with Will Perkins adding 17 andfreshman Curtis Allen 14 for Washington (9-16, 3-10). The Huskies have lostfive straight and seven of their last eight games.

Leading by five points early in the second half, the Ducks hit five3-pointers during their decisive 23-10 run.

Ridnour made two 3-pointers during the run and Jackson capped it with a3-pointer that gave Oregon a 67-49 lead with 12:17 remaining.

Washington made one last run at the Ducks, as Allen scored five pointsduring an 18-6 run that cut Oregon's lead to 79-73 with 1:53 remaining.

The Ducks made six stright free throws in the final minute to seal the win.

The Ducks led for most of the first half and took their largest lead of thehalf at 31-17 on a layup by Jackson with 5:27 remaining in the half.

Massingale scored seven points during an 11-0 Washington run that broughtthe Huskies to within 32-30 with 3:08 remaining in the first half.

Oregon led 36-33 at halftime.
