Hoffman Tabbed Second Team Freshman All-American

LOS ANGELES -- USC freshman forward Ebony Hoffman has been named to the Women's Basketball Journal Freshman All-American second team. This is the first honor Hoffman has received for her performance throughout the 2001 season.

The 6-2 post player who hails from Harbor City, Calif., has led the Women of Troy in scoring and rebounding through much of the 2001 season and could pace to become the first freshman to ever win the Pac-10 rebounding title averaging 8.0 boards per game.
