Seth Davidson Named Pac-10 Player Of The Week

March 6, 2001

WALNUT CREEK - Senior shortstop Seth Davidson was named Pac-10 Conference Player of the Week for March 6, after going 7-for-14 (.500) in the Trojans' three-game sweep last weekend at Houston. He recorded a triple, one RBI and two stolen bases during the series.

Davidson went 3-for-5 in both games of Saturday's (March 3) doubleheader. In the second game, Davidson had two stolen bases. On a double steal with teammate Jon Brewster, Davidson stole home, the first Trojan to do that since Morgan Ensberg in the 1998 national championship game at the College World Series in USC's 21-14 win against Arizona State.
