Kamimura Named Golf World Collegiate Player of the Week

Seattle - Washington junior golfer Kelli Kamimura has been named Golf World's Women's Collegiate Player of the Week in its March 9 issue. Kamimura was honored for leading Washington to the team championship at the Bay Area Classic in Vallejo, Calif. on Feb. 26 and 27. The Burlington, Wash., native won the tournament with a six-under score of 138, 11 strokes ahead of the next closest competitor. The victory was the third during her career, tying her for Washington's all-time mark.

Golf World's men's player of the week was Lucas Glover of Clemson, who shot 67 to win individual honors at the Puerto Rico Classic.
