Softball To Play Three Games At Wallace Marine Sports Park In Salem

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon State's softball team will open its home season on the road next week with three games at Wallace Marine Sports Park in Salem.

Due to ongoing construction of the new OSU Softball Complex, the No. 14 ranked Beavers will play their first three games in Salem. Oregon State will host No. 2 ranked Arizona on Friday, March 30 and Saturday, March 31 at 2 p.m. and will host No. 10 ranked Arizona State at 1 p.m. on Sunday April 1.

Wallace Marine Park is located at 560 Musgrave Lane in West Salem.

If travelling north on I-5, take the Commercial Street exit and head towards the Marion Street Bridge. Turn right onto the bridge and stay in the right hand lane while heading over the Willamette River onto Highway 221.

In West Salem turn right at Glen Creek Road (at Roth's IGA Foodliner). At the end of Glen Creek Road the road splits into a 'Y', stay left and Wallace Marine Park will be on the left.

Tickets will be sold at the gate at a cost of $5 dollars for adults and $3 dollars for youths ages 18 and under.

The $1 million dollar OSU Softball Complex will be ready for competition when Oregon State hosts No. 1 ranked UCLA at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 20.
