STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford men's basketball fans can track the nation's No. 2 team throughout the NCAA Final Four Tournament by viewing full-screen action photographs displayed on their computer desktop and updated after each game via the free Stanford Interactive Screensaver (downloadable at

Stanford Athletics, in conjunction with Eyetide Media, Inc., creators of the next-generation screensaver network, and David Gonzales, the team photographer for Stanford Athletics, will add new photos throughout the tournament via the Eyetide Viewer (tm), an interactive screensaver application that's free, quick to download, and easy to use.

In addition to delivering high-quality, full-screen action photos, the Stanford Interactive Screensaver encourages users to explore images in depth. Within the screensaver, fans can interact with each basketball image by using a mouse-activated toolbar to jump directly online to internet information about official team news, purchasing merchandise, making gifts to benefit athletic scholarships, and much more. Also, there is no need to update the screensaver because it delivers new photographs automatically, through an unobtrusive background download process.

'The screensaver is an excellent way for the fans, students, and alumni to see what Stanford basketball is all about, and we want them to relive this incredible season and keep them connected throughout the NCAA tournament,' says photographer David Gonzales, a former team photographer for the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies.
