Los Angeles, CA -- The top-ranked UCLA Bruins tennis team defeated Oxford University, 7-0 this afternoon at the Los Angeles Tennis Center. The singles portion of the match was played using a pro set format in lieu of the standard collegiate scoring

The Bruins claimed the first point of the match after sweeping all-three double matches. The tandem of Jean-Noel Grinda and Chris Sands clinched the doubles point for the Bruins after defeating Venki Sundaram and Joerg Peltzer at No. 2, 8-3.
