Men's Crew Notch First and Second Place Finish On Final Day Of San Diego Crew Classic

The Stanford men's crew took home a first and second place finish on the final day of competition at the 28th Annual San Diego Crew Classic. The two-day regatta was held at Crown Point Shores in Mission Bay.

The Cardinal took top honors in the men's collegiate Novice Petite (6:28.88), followed by the University of Virginia (6:30.35) and Long Beach State (6:37.95).

Stanford finished second in the Copley Cup Petite with a time of 6:25.40. Temple won the event with a time of 6:19.47.

In the men's open Grand Final, Stanford finished sixth with a time of 6:46.82. The Hooters Rowing Club placed first, clocking in at 6:18.50, followed by the Los Gatos Rowing Club (6:30.00).
