Women's Crew Concludes Competition At San Diego Crew Classic

San Diego, Calif. - The Stanford women's crew team took home a second place finish on the final day of competition at the 28th Annual San Diego Crew Classic along with a fifth and sixth place showing. The two-day regatta was held at the Crown Point Shores Park in Mission Bay.
The Cardinal clocked in at 7:13.34, good for second place in the petite final of the Jessop-Whittier Cup (varsity eight) race. Washington State took top honors with a time of 7:10.22.
Stanford placed fifth in the women's collegiate Novice A Grand Final, clocking in at 7:41.02 and finished sixth in the women's JV Petite with a time of 7:25.56. Washington (7:15.93) won the Novice A Grand Final while California (7:03.11) finished first in the women's JV Petite.
