WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- Pacific-10 Conference outdoor track and field athlete of the week
honors for the week of April 9-15:

MEN'S TRACK - Michael Campbell, ARIZONA STATE. Campbell clocked a personal-best and
NCAA provisional qualifying time of 45.74 to finish second in the 400 meters at the 22nd Annual Sun Angel Classic in Tempe, Ariz. Campbell's time is the fastest by a Pac-10 competitor this season. He is a senior from Kingston, Jamaica.

MEN'S FIELD - David Wood, ARIZONA STATE. Wood won the shot put with a personal-best
and NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 61-3 1/2 (18.68m) at the Mesa Classic. He followed that performance with his second consecutive qualifying mark, a throw of 60-9 1/4 (18.52m) at the Sun Angel Classic. Wood is a junior from Pendleton, Ore.

WOMEN'S TRACK - Brigita Langerholc, USC. Langerholc ran a nation-leading and NCAA
automatic qualifying time of 2:04.77 to win the 800 meters at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational in Berkeley, Calif. She is a senior from Skofja Loka, Slovenia.

WOMEN'S FIELD - Tracy O'Hara, UCLA. O'Hara won the pole vault with an NCAA
automatic qualifying mark of 13-9 1/4 (4.20m) as the Bruins defeated Nebraska and Cal State Northridge. The mark is O'Hara's second best in 2001 and ranks as the No. 2 mark in the United States this season. She is a senior from San Diego, Calif.
