Stanford, Calif. -Stanford sophomore shortstop Scott Dragicevich will make a special visit to the chat room this Thursday, April 25 (12:30 p.m., PDT). Dragicevich will chat with fans about the No. 3 ranked Stanford Baseball team and the Cardinal's upcoming three-game Pac-10 series at local rival California this Friday-Sunday, April 27-29 (2:30 pm, 1 pm, 1 pm). Stanford (33-10, 11-4 Pac-10) currently holds a slim one-game lead on USC (29-16, 10-5 Pac-10). Stanford is attempting to extend its school record string of Pac-10 titles to five in a row (includes Southern Division titles and co-championships). California (24-21, 9-9 Pac-10) enters this weekend's series tied for fourth place in the Pac-10 and fighting for an NCAA Tournament berth. Stanford won two-of-three games over the Golden Bears in a three-game non-conference series early this season at Sunken Diamond (3/2-3-7). The Cardinal also won five of six games between the clubs in 2000, including a three-game sweep the last time the teams played at Evans Diamond (2/25/00 - 2/27/00). Stanford leads the all-time series, 211-204.

Dragicevich has solidified the shortstop position for the Cardinal this season, leading a defense that is fielding at a Pac-10 best clip of .975 and currently on pace to set a new single-season school record. Dragicevich has also made a large contribution to the club's offensive attack, hitting .333 with four homers, 27 RBI and five stolen bases.
