Pac-10 Tennis Championship Results - Day Three

OJAI, Calif. - The University of Oregon men's and women's tennis squads competed in the third day of the Pac-10 Championships on Saturday. The men's team had one singles player and one doubles team still in competition, while the women had one singles player remaining after today's competition. All Oregon players will be competing in the second round of the singles consolation B-draw.

On the men's side, Oregon sophomore Oded Teig defeated Arizona State's Pim Van Mele, 6-1, 6-2 to advance. Teig will face Bruno Arapovic of Arizona in the round of 16 tomorrow. Oregon's doubles duo of Jason Menke and Chris King had a bye and will compete in the doubles B-draw round of 16 tomorrow against Washington's tandem of Jeremy Berman and Andrej Biznak.

In women's play, Oregon freshman Courtney Nagle put away Jennifer Baker of Arizona State, 6-2, 7-6 to advance in the women's singles B-draw. Nagle will face Celena McCoury of Arizona State in the round of 16.
