Felicia Ragland Recognized By Women's Basketball Hall Of Fame

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Felicia Ragland, a member of the Oregon State University women's basketball team, will have her jersey on display in the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in Knoxville, Tenn., until May 2002, announced head coach Judy Spoelstra Tuesday.
In recognition of being named to the prestigious Kodak honorable mention All-America squad,Ragland's orange No. 34 jersey will hang next to other members of the Kodak team in the Hall of Fame for one year.
'This a fantastic honor for Fee,' commented OSU head coach Judy Spoelstra. 'It's exciting that an Oregon State player will be nationally recognized for an entire year. It's great for our women's basketball program as well as the entire Oregon State community.'
Ragland was named Pacific-10 Conference Player of the Year after leading the Beavers in scoring and rebounding with 19.7 points per game and 7.4 rebounds per contest. The 5-9 junior is one of just eight OSU players to score 1,000 career points (1,165) and pull down 500 career rebounds (527), and is only the fourth Oregon State player to earn Kodak All-America honors.
