Men's Golf Tied For Fourth Heading Into Final Round At West Regional

Corvallis, Oregon - The Stanford men's golf team shot a 303 today and are tied for fourth overall heading into the final round at the NCAA West Regional in Corvallis, Oregon. Arizona State remains in the lead with a two-day total of 560. Rounding out the top five are UC-Irvine, Arizona, and UCLA.

Individually, Cardinal Philip Rowe leads the squad after shooting a par 72 today to tie for sixth (141). Jimmy Lee is tied for 25th after carding a three-over par 75 on the afternoon (147). Jim Seki shot a five-over 77 and is tied for 42nd (149). Senior Alex Aragon is tied for 60th with a 150 while Eric Dahlberg is tied for 103rd at 155.

Matt Jones from Arizona State leads the field with a nine-under par 135 after two rounds.

The 2001 NCAA Men's Golf West Regional concludes tomorrow at the Trysting Tree Golf Club in Corvallis, Oregon.
