Stanford opened post-season play with a 4-3 win over Marist on May 25 before beating Texas in a pair of one-run games on May 27 to advance to a Super Regional. After splitting the first two games of its Super Regional with South Carolina, Stanford picked up a 3-2 win over the Gamecocks on June 3 to reach the CWS.
